Rome

After 23 days of traveling, we finally made it to Rome. By the time we got there, I was already forgetting what happened at the beginning of our trip, or I would recall something that happened during the trip and couldn't remember where it happened!

I think part of that is age catching up to me, but I also think that the sheer amount of stuff that we did in a 23-day span was definitely a contributing factor as well. By the time I was in Rome, I felt like Croatia had been months ago.

It was nice to get to Rome and just wander around without too much on the agenda other than making sure to go to the Vatican City, the Colosseum, and the Forum. Other than that, there was a lot of shopping, eating, and relaxing. Not a bad way to end a near month-long trip.
