Tuscany
Driving through Tuscany
I need to keep reminding myself that driving in other countries is not that bad, and the freedom it provides greatly improves the use of your time and the quality of your travel. You don't have to wait for transportation and be confined to a schedule, you don't have to lug around your luggage, and you can do whatever you want, whenever you want.
Driving through Tuscany was amazing. We were able to stop at multiple cities and explore at our own pace, stop the car whenever we saw a view we wanted to linger on, and drive to places where public transportation doesn't route to—such as the thermal spas at Saturnia.
If you ever visit Tuscany, definitely rent a car.
